How to join

Trial sessions

Anyone considering joining the club can try out one swim, one bike and one run session before signing up to see what it is like and have a chat with members. It is necessary to get in contact with hello@3dtri.ie beforehand to confirm with the coach and to ensure you are covered by the insurance.

Cost breakdown (2025-2026)

Here is the breakdown of the membership combinations you can select on the Triathlon Ireland website:

3D Triathlon Club membership (€80) + Triathlon Ireland full license (€83): this is the most popular combination, and grants you access to our club while also enabling you to race in Ireland and internationally
3D Triathlon Club membership (€80) + Triathlon Ireland club training license (€40): this cheaper option from Triathlon Ireland only covers the insurance during training. You will need to purchase One Day License if you plan on racing in Ireland or abroad. Note that you can select this option then upgrade later in the year and only pay the balance amount.

Your 3D Triathlon Club membership will be valid until 31/12/2026. See full details of the different types of Triathlon Ireland memberships here.

Training sessions are either free, or kept to a minimal, e.g. coached swim classes or coached run sessions. All sessions are subsidized using the membership fees.
